A hackathon related to the Taranto Circular project was held on February 8 and 9, 2024. The event involved four classes from the ITS Logistica Puglia institute, and was held at Palazzo Amati, at the headquarters of the Jonian Dolphin Conservation.
Francesco Castellano, CEO and founder of Tondo, opened the first day of the hackathon by introducing the Blue Economy challenge and briefly presenting the main themes of the hackathon.
On Friday afternoon, the projects were presented in front of a panel of experts, deciding the winning project: it was Taras Eco Aqualand, which presented the project of an eco-sustainable water park in the waters of Taranto.
