Re-think Circular Economy Forum: online the program
Tondo, an international organization working in the field of circular economy, presents the official program of the eighth edition of Re-think - Circular Economy Forum, with main partner Eni, which will be accompanied by a hackathon dedicated to students, doctoral students and recent graduates from universities in Southern Italy.
Re-think - Circular Economy Forum will be held in presence on October 2, 3 and 4, 2024 at the Relais Histò San Pietro on the Mar Piccolo and at the former “Baraccamenti Cattolica” spaces.
The event will be held in hybrid mode and aims to present a vision on macro-trends, possible evolutionary paths and main projects of Circular Economy at the Italian and international level, involving actors such as companies, start-ups, research centers and other institutions. In this way, the forum aims to inspire the creation of increasingly innovative futures, particularly in the event territory, through the creation of new collaborations on an international scale.
Over the course of the two days, there will be a number of speeches by corporations, startups, research organizations, and institutional players who are pursuing and supporting projects on the Circular Economy locally, nationally, and internationally. The event will cover three main topics: Energy Transition & Sustainable Mobility: Emerging Technologies and Trends in Energy, with a focus on new energy sources such as green hydrogen, biofuels, biogas, additional new technologies such as Carbon Capture and Storage, and impacts to energy infrastructure; Water Valorization & Blue Economy: Emerging technologies and trends for the sustainable management of the water resource and for the enhancement of the marine environment according to a circular approach; Valorization of materials & residues: Technologies and trends that enable the valorization and optimization of production processes from a circular perspective with a focus on opportunities in local and international manufacturing industry.
