On Friday, May 17, 2024, the Kino factory at Porta Napoli in Taranto hosted a workshop dedicated to Sight and Light in Architecture that involved students from the main universities in the Apulia region in a moment of confrontation, dialogue and design.
Four in-depth sessions focused on the theme of light and lighting design, held by experts in the field, introduced the workshop. Francesco Castellano, CEO and founder of Tondo, moderated the event, which, with the participation of architect Bernardo D'Ippolito, Technical Director of Kino, challenged the students to imagine a new lighting design project applied to the city of Taranto.
The meeting focused on Light was the first of a series of events dedicated to the five senses (plus one), according to the integrated and multi-sensory approach that characterises and distinguishes Kino Workshop in architectural design.
