B&Y
B&Y was born from experience gained in the family marble factory, and the realisation that stone dust, sludge, and scraps disposed of in landfills represent both a waste of resources and an environmental and economic cost. The startup transforms this waste into a low-environmental-impact mortar, which is 3D-printable using LDM (Liquid Deposit Material) technology, intended for furniture and building components in accordance with circular economy principles.
The market opportunity is driven by the growing demand for sustainable products from consumers, companies, and institutional bodies, as well as the evolution of European environmental regulations. The project stands as a high-impact innovation in cleantech and construction tech: the model is scalable and replicable, aligning with ecological transition and decarbonization goals.
By integrating upcycled waste, specific low-impact hydraulic binders, and digital technologies, B&Y offers a concrete alternative to traditional materials, providing environmental, economic, and employment benefits.
