Niteko Srl is a design and manufacturing company with executive and production headquarters in Montemesola, Taranto. It offers devices for street, industrial, architectural and large area lighting with Italian technology.
Niteko works with low environmental impact: in fact, their corporate headquarters uses a production cycle aimed at reducing waste, energy and material. Each new project that takes shape is based on the principle of Ecodesign and the efficient use of resources and materials, to reduce not only the environmental impact related to production, but also the amount of waste generated, acting on the durability, reparability, upgradeability and recyclability of the product itself.
To date, Niteko has obtained significant awards and is registered in the special section of innovative start-ups at the Taranto Chamber of Commerce, registration No. PRA/3951/2013. After only a few years since its inception, it is already a brand recognized in the market as Smart and young Society.
The founders are among the world's excellences and authors of the first led street application in 2004 from which the scientific paper “Led based public Lighting system reliability for a reduced impact on environment and energy consumption” presented at the 2006 IEEE SSD International Conference in Hammamet (Tunisia) was derived.
