Phytotech is a spin-off created on the initiative of the company Cisa and the CNR, reported among the success stories of Smau for the Sector of Phytotechnology and Urban Forestry, which provides a range of services based on natural processes around the design and management of plant systems in which plants take a central role.
The offering is divided into two modules. The first is inherent in the design, implementation, management and monitoring of plant systems and associated microbiological systems for direct remediation, refinement of traditional remediation treatments in the redevelopment of contaminated or degraded areas and the creation of green infrastructure in urban settings. Plant systems and microorganisms are thus used as a “phytobiome” in contaminated area treatment interventions and in the intelligent design of urban forestry to counter air pollution and climate change.
The second, on the other hand, focuses on technical-scientific training and consulting, with the aim of facilitating and making continuous the process of technology transfer between the world of research and business. This module provides a bridge between scientific innovation and its practical application in industrial and environmental fields, ensuring that the technologies developed can be effectively implemented in the field.
